Hilary Swank and producer husband,Schneider secretly wed last weekend at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California, USA.
Hilary have found sweet love once again as she was pictured grooming with smile walking down the aisle in an Elie Saab Haute Couture Atelier gown made of lace, chiffon, and organza silk.
She told Vogue, “I’ve loved Elie Saab for years and was thrilled to have him design my dress. I wanted something romantic that felt as timeless as the redwood grove where we were to be married, and he delivered – designing something that far surpassed my greatest expectations. It was everything I imagined and more.”
Hilary’s maid of honor was Mariska Hargitay, while Philip’s best man was Misha Collins.
Of the wedding, Hilary said, “It was timeless. There is just no other way to describe it. I was overwhelmed with such gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting. It was truly a dream come true.”
At the reception, they did their first dance to Moby’s “In My Heart.” She shared, “I doubt we completely pulled off the modern-day version of Fred and Ginger, but we had fun, and our family and friends seemed to enjoy it. We prepared for it with the stellar and unparalleled Chloe Arnold and shocked ourselves and our guests by not stepping on each other’s toes!”
The two began dating in 2016, six months after she called off her engagement to tennis player Ruben Torres.
More than a year later, Hilary and Philip got secretly engaged without anyone knowing until now. She shared, “We stumbled upon a beautiful sanctuary deep in the mountains. It had a stunning waterfall that cascades down to rustic cabins built in the 1800s surrounded by beautiful pines and big skies. One evening, Philip dropped to his knee in front of the waterfall and proposed – he sweetly made sure my dogs were nearby so they could bear witness!”
