‘The Bachelorette’s’ Garrett Yrigoyen Apologizes for Social Media Controversy

Garrett Yrigoyen, one of Becca Kufrin’s suitor on this season of “The Bachelorette,” took to Instagram to apologize for his past behavior on social media.

Garrett reportedly liked a series of questionable social media posts on Instagram using an account that has since been deleted. Though the account was deleted, his social media activity was captured with screengrabs, and shared by former “Bachelor” contestant Ashley Spivey.

Yrigoyen wrote, “I am sorry to those who I offended, and I also take full responsibility for my ‘likes’ on Instagram that were hurtful and offensive.”

He later added, “I did not mean any harm by any of it. My Instagram ‘likes’ were not a true reflection of me and morals.”'The Bachelorette's' Garrett Yrigoyen Apologizes for Social Media Controversy
